Ohio has local OhioMeansJobs Centers that assist job seekers, employers and youth with job search assistance, employee recruitment, job training, and much more. Gallia County Economic Development works cooperatively with the OhioMeansJobs Gallia County office on several successful projects and programs. Together, we can assist your company meet and exceed your workforce and training needs.  Gallia County is focused onn working to unite local companies searching for skilled workforce with individuals searching for a career.

Educational Opportunities

Gallia County offers various educational and training opportunites. Companies and their employees can gain skills and training they need to further their productivity and knowledge base.  The University of Rio Grande has demonstrated history of working with local companies including AEP Gavin Plant, OVEC Kyger Creek Plant, and Bob Evans Farms Inc by developing specialized curriculum and degree programs to custom train their workforce.
