Founded in Gallipolis in 2001, Ohio Valley Trackwork Inc. is today one of the largest manufacturers of mining track in the world. Due to the company’s rapid growth, Ohio Valley Trackwork worked with Gallia County Economic Development in 2011 to expand the Dan Evans Industrial Park. Just a year later, as the business continued to grow, Ohio Valley Trackwork purchased the adjacent lot and expanded into a newly built building. The company now operates from three facilities manufacturing trackwork for the coal, tunneling and railroad industries.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Gallia County Economic Development is to promote economic growth in Gallia County through the attraction of new business and industry and the retention of existing businesses by providing resources that encourage investment and development resulting in economic vitality, diversification of Gallia County’s tax base, and improved quality of life for Gallia County residents.
