Governor DeWine, Lt Governor Husted and Dr. Amy Acton announced plans to reopen the economy with sector-specific protocols for the safety of all Ohioans, asking that all companies adhere to the guidance for the safety of their associates and visitors to their establishments. Sector specific guidelines can be found here.
May 1 – Healthcare reopening for those non-essential procedures that were slowed down
May 4 – Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction and General Office may reopen
May 12 – Consumer, Retail and Services will open
May 15 – Restaurants can begin serving patrons on outdoor patios and outside dining areas.
May 15 – Some personal service including nail salons, barber and hair salons, day spas and tanning shops, tattoo parlors, and body piercing locations.
May 21 –Restaurants may begin inside meal service, Camping and Campgrounds.
May 26 – BMV, gyms, fitness centers, dance studios, limited non-contact sports.
May 31– Childcare centers and day camps.
