Gallia County Economic Development was awarded an APEG Site Readiness Grant for the Dan Evans Industrial Park – Phase II Site. The grant will cost share on the completion of a Geotechnical Study, Wetland Determination, and an Endangered Species Review.
The Dan Evans Industrial Park – Phase II parcel is considered a ‘Prime Industrial Site’ in Southern Ohio. The 77 acre site located one mile North of US 35 / SR 850 interchange between Gallipolis and Rio Grande, OH. The site is uniquely served by both AEP and Buckey Rural Electric Cooperative, and also features excess sewer and water capacity. Gallia County is working toward achieving Site Certification status from JobsOhio. The site currently has a completed Phase 1 Environmental Assessment. The additional site due diligence studies are currently underway.
