Business Support & Entrepreneurship
Business Retention & Expansion
On average, 80% of new jobs and capital investment come from companies that already exist in a community. That’s why Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) is essential to Gallia County. We visit local companies for candid conversations regarding the opportunities and challenges that exist operating a business in Gallia County. As a result, we’re able to provide assistance to help solve business challenges, improve the local business climate, and connect businesses to available resources to catalyze their growth.
We aim to complete at least one BRE visit per year with major local employers and companies in JobsOhio’s target sectors, which include advanced manufacturing, aerospace & aviation, automotive, advanced mobility, energy & chemicals, financial services, food & agribusiness, healthcare, logistics & distribution, military & federal, and technology.

- Resources to help entrepreneurs make their next major investment
- Contacts with low-interest loan and gap financing loan programs
- Knowledge of tax incentive programs that can help your business save money
