The University of Rio Grande & Rio Grande Community College

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College (URG/RGCC) is a unique partnership between a public community college and a four-year comprehensive university. More than 2,300 students, from 20 states and 14 countries, attend Rio Grande. Students enjoy a 16:1 student faculty ration, with more than 70 academic programs.

Buckeye Hills Career Center

The Buckeye Hills Career Center is a career-technical education center, designed for high school students and adults. The training at BHCC is job specific and provides students with “real skills”, through full time, short/part-time classes and programs. Custom training is also available for both business and industry. Buckeye Hills Career Center is set to offer a new program, Advanced Robotics Manufacturing Systems (ARMS). ARMS will be offered to high school students that will focus on robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), CNC machining, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
