Gallia County Economic Development is pleased to announce that construction has begun on the new Love’s Travel Stop (Love’s) set to open in early 2015. The new travel stop will be located on the south side of US-35 at the State Route 850 exit in Bidwell, OH. The new 24/7 location will feature Hardees, fuel pumps and diesel pumps for professional drivers, a convenience store and a tire care center. It is anticipated the new project will create approximately 50 new jobs in Gallia County, OH, and initial estimates indicate the new development will add over $15 million in annual fuel, food and merchandise sales.
“These new jobs and revenues are here to stay and we anticipate that Love’s Travel Stop will be a catalyst for future business growth in the entire area” said Gallia County Commissioner Harold Montgomery.
An official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be planned upon completion of the project early next year.
