Site Readiness Grant Awarded to Gallia County

Gallia County has been selected to receive a Site Readiness Grant from the Appalachian Partnership for Economic Growth (APEG). The grant will cost share for a preliminary engineering study of water and sewer infrastructure at a 90 acre site near the Dan Evans Industrial Park. 

The industrial site, owned by the Community Improvement Corporation of Gallia County,  is located one mile from the Dan Evans Industrial Park along Kerr Rd in Bidwell, OH. The site features high visibility from US 35 and is served by Buckeye Rural Electric Cooperative. 

In 2017, Gallia County Economic Development (GCED) has successfully secured over $41,000 in site-readiness grants for Gallia County.  GCED continually works to increase our community’s marketability and secure new investment and jobs in Gallia County.
